Today was our last full day in San Francisco. We spent the morning lazing by the pool making the most of the sunshine. Eventually we felt we should get on with the day so we packed up a picnic lunch and walked down the now familiar route, to Fisherman’s Wharf and ate our lunch watching swimmers in the bay.
We then gradually made our way, via a combination of walking and bus to Union Square. Shopping was the main focus of the day and the girls attacked it with some vigour! I on the other hand ambled around behind them, herding them in the same general direction, occasionally handing out money for their purchases!
When they were all shopped out we had a lovely meal in Fisherman’s Wharf to finish off our time here in San Francisco.

Tomorrow we were supposed to be setting off for five nights in Yosemite National Park but because of the terrible forest fires we are unable to go unfortunately as the Park is closed. We are instead heading back down the coast to stay in a cottage in Santa Barbara which I am sure will be just as enjoyable.
